Right-of-way issues prompt coal-plant build cancellation

CONSUNJI-led Semirara Mining and Power Corp. (SMPC) has temporarily shelved earlier plans to develop a 700-megawatt (MW) coal-fired power plant, via its non-operating subsidiary St. Raphael Power Generation Corp. (SRPGC), citing transmission constraints brought about by right-of-way (ROW) issues.
