MANILA – President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. said Wednesday the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) would temporarily suspend the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) operation during a red alert notice in the country’s power grids to tame the rising prices of electricity.
